    Dear respected colleagues,

I am inviting you to consider submitting a chapter title and abstract toward possible inclusion in the following forthcoming edited collection, to be published by Palgrave:
EXPLORING GENDER AT WORK: TOWARD INCREASED AWARENESS AND INTEGRATION
In order to make this a "colorful" work consisting of divergent viewpoints, it is the intention to build this collective volume on a wide range of existing gender based literature, yet, not exclude studies performed by the contributing authors.

Since gender is a topic that affects each individual, whether in agreement or disagreement with the labels assigned, this project will be a strongly relatable, and interest-arousing one for large audiences, individual and groups, at the micro or macro level, and from multiple disciplines and backgrounds.

Because gender is of natural interest to most people, we believe the content of this work, which will review gender from the standpoints of inequality of various sorts; discrimination; profiling; prejudice; industry influences; cultural, religious, political, and other boundaries, will spark great interest due to the insights it will provide and the discussions it may provoke.

This collective work should engage debates such as gender identity, women in the workplace, LGBTQIA rights, diversity and discrimination issues, stereotyping, policy frameworks, and more. While there is no initial intention to include controversial or unconventional arguments, the topic in and of itself is so dynamic and evolving, that contributing authors will not be inhibited in sharing their research and study findings.

The aim is for this edited collection to satisfy a long standing quest of workforce members, scholars, and students from a variety of disciplines (business, psychology, sociology, women studies, and more) to have a focused, collective thought product that captures multiple facets pertaining to gender issues and relationships.
