New Stories for a Sustainable Future
Humanity faces major global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss and poverty that threaten our sustainable future on the planet. Many people believe that the stories we tell about our relationship to the Earth and each other are part of the problem. Our deep stories and narratives are helping to create our sustainability challenges.
We need new stories, and we think that the seeds of those stories are already out there in the world. The Transformative Narratives team at the
SDG Transformations Forum has collaborated with the
Wellbeing Economy Alliance (WEAll) to create an online survey to uncover these stories. If you are working to achieve transformations towards and beyond sustainability, we want to hear your stories and visions for the future.
We want to collect as many story ideas as possible. If you've only got 5 minutes to spare, just share some quick ideas in the survey form. If you've got a bit longer, you can take the time to craft your ideal story of the future. All the details on how we will use your data are in the survey form. Click the button below to take the survey.
The survey has been developed by Professor Chris Riedy from the Institute for Sustainable Futures, University of Technology Sydney and Professor Sandra Waddock from the Carroll School of Management, Boston College. Chris and Sandra lead a group on Transforming Narratives as part of the
SDG Transformations Forum.
We want to get this survey out to as many change agents as possible. If you know of others working on transformation, please share the survey with them by forwarding this email or posting the survey link on social media. The link is
