Greetings everybody,
These are exciting times for AMLE, and I am pleased to share another AMLE newsflash with you that just underlines why these are exciting times.
1. AMLE JIF for 2025 has risen. Here are the brief details:
New 2 year IF: 5.2 (old: 4.8)
New 5 year IF: 6.0 (old: 5.3)
The good news is that this development positions AMLE rather well vis-a-vis other journals in the field. Further, the steady rise suggests a wider appreciation of AMLE studies as a whole rather than single papers causing hikes in the IF.
2. The June 2025 issue has been published, and it features articles and editorials that already attract significant download numbers. The ToC can be found here:
3. AMLE holds PDWs in Belfast (11-12 Sep), Vilnius (29 Oct), and Wellington (6 Nov). Please consider submitting your work for a convivial and developmental feedback opportunity. Details can be found here.
4. AMLE currently invites proposals for future special issue (deadline: 31 July 2025). Please share the news and consider developing a proposal.
5. AMLE also runs a special issue with the title: Management Learning and Education as Drivers of Fundamental Alternative Forms of Organizing. The deadline is 15th of Dec 2025.
6. Finally, in opportunity-response mode, AMLE is running a special section with the title: Learning to Hope In and Through Management Learning & Education. The deadline is 27th of Feb 2026, and an online PDW will be held in Dec. Interested colleagues could also consult the recent editorial titled "HOPE."
So much going at AMLE, and I hope there is at least one item that caught your attention.
Feel free to reach out with any questions.
Thanks and best wishes to you all,
