Employment with Justice, a Substack website

    Fall greetings from Copenhagen:

Nice to have seen so many AOM members and good friends at Bella Center this past July. I'm posting a link to a Substack website begun back in May, coincident with the conference PDW on "Employment with Justice" offered by Susan Fairchild, David Jacobs, Toyoko Sato, and myself.

This link brings you to the latest post that introduces a new section. I offer a genealogy of executive prerogative in U.S. Constitutional law and Congressional legislation from the nation's founding to current confluence with "employment at will" case law. I do this in one diagram (!), to helpfully map out the issues as the current President, lower courts, and U.S. Supreme Court are dealing with it.

CMS has long been involved in research, teaching, academic publication and advocacy related to the U.S. private sector historical injustice of "employment at will" as caselaw. Substack offers a platform to bring these together in a very useful social media pubic square.

    Best wishes,

    Charlie Tackney
