Hello, Robin.
Sorry for taking so long to answer. For some reason, I stopped receiving the notifications from this forum.
So, I used to teach CMS for both undergrads and graduate students back in Brazil.
For undergrads, I tried to use more diverse materials (movies, music, poetry, news stories, etc.). I made a twitter thread about it the other day (@amonbarros), I can look out for it if you want. I only introduced academic literature afterwards. For the graduate students, the proposal was more square, but I tried to bring a poem for each encounter and asked them to do the same. The literature was more interested in contextualising CMS ideas than with current topics, but I can also share the program with you if you want.

Subject: Undergrad and Masters readings
I'm looking for a few good intro CMS readings for an undergrad strategy class, and also for a first term MSc seminar where each faculty member has a couple of sessions in which to introduce important topics. I've managed to diverge from typical strategy content in the past by focusing on sustainability for undergrads, and critical CSR for the masters students. But I'd like to go further in providing students with critical tools to understand the links between our economic systems and the current chaos: political, social, economic, racial, and environmental. I'd appreciate your recommendations. Many thanks.
