From the event organizer and panelists: In response to concerns raised by some members of the CMS community, we have decided not to go ahead with the workshop at this moment in time. Given the interest in the event with 178 registered participants, we may revisit the possibility of hosting a similar event in the future.
From the In-Touch team/ CMS AOM: We would like to draw your attention to our other webinars already planned and in the pipeline and hope they will be of interest. These can be viewed at: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/cms-in-touch-30396659534
Against the background of a rapidly growing global mobilization against individual and institutional racism and widespread racist (state) violence, everyone involved wants to try and ensure the CMS community has the ambition to be ethical, inclusive, and self-reflective. We would like to reassure you that as a collective, we are moving forward with these ambitions in mind and look at the webinar series as a larger whole to ensure we can realize these aspects while providing a platform for critical engaging work and dialogue. We of course strongly and actively rely on the whole CMS community to support us with these aims and question us when they feel they are not fulfilled and welcome your actions as our drive. We want you to continue engaging with us when you feel we could realize the CMS' aims in different or better ways.
There are two more CMS In-Touch webinars confirmed, and several proposals in the pipeline. We invite you to save the dates and hope to welcome you to these events later in June. Further details and links to registration are coming soon.
